I know I´ve been slacking on updating this thing, but I´m finally settled in in Spain, and have time to do this!
So before I go on to talking about Spain, I´m going to talk about my UK trip. My original plan was to visit my friend Anya (and her husband Dave) who graduated from RPI and is not at Cambridge for her PhD. Then Anya´s friend Kat decided she wanted to visit too, so Kat and I traveled together, and split our time between hanging out with Anya and Dave, and running around seeing other parts of the UK.
First thing that I have to say is that Cambridge University is GORGEOUS. It was built I think in the 12th century, so it has a bunch of amazing old architecture.
Also, the university had a ton of crazy stuff - like the original copy of winnie the pooh, and a some of Newton´s original documents.
To the left is a picture of a descendent of Newton´s apple tree, growing below what used to be Newton´s dorm room when he was at Cambridge.
